History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
