Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Koeth was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Koeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shepherd who has hired him part-time. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Shepherd and found it very stressful. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mayor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Shepherd, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He is portly but not overly obese. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His black eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
