Description: Her right side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull brown iron scale mail. Her hair is long and black with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small blue clips. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Birel is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She worked as a nervous Mason and found it very stressful. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: An older man who prefers to wear flannel, he is not a threatening figure. His white hair is still thick. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Hagren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Elves. Her skin is dark but she possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. She wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her lance with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. She wears a feathered hat to hide her balding. Her hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Ielenia enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ielenia grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: The child of a Mortician, who enjoyed hunting, Avelina was taken on many hunting expeditions. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She bought a crossbow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off her debts
