Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes orcs are coming to abduct people. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

She accessorizes with a grey scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt. Her brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her hazel eyes peer out from beneath her deerstalker grey hat.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balifra embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
