History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born in the south to a Dilettante, Malquis learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Malquis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sword and armor she uses now. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
