History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She is a Cartwright first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Arara was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Through the years after Andry was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Andry's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This light-skinned female is dressed in earthy colors with a blue and yellow handkerchief worn on her right side. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her silver hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Meriele and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
