A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Quick lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Howard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after Howard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Howard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and to reunite with his old friends
