Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He's also a talented Tanner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This woman has a large white mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her green robe. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized jet on her right hand. Her brown hair is cut short. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her green eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pearl embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Courier who has hired him part-time. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Dayereth was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Stylist. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'11" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears baggy grey pantaloons and a violet scarf. His brown hair is cut short. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and someone believes him a fraud
