Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: Nicholas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is content.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
