History: She was born in a small plains village. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Serpent grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Serpent. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Junk Dealer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Now he works as a poetry tutor during his time off.

She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born into a rich family. Arha liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: Helja was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Fortune-teller. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has decided she is irredeemable
