He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull green iron scale mail. He has dyed his greying blonde hair a little too much giving a sharp blonde color. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burgell embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Emma is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Markosian was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Olivia's homeland. Olivia decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.
