History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Merla is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Cook but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Actor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he has a crush on the local bounty hunter
