History: Born in the south to a Bounty Hunter, Emen learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Courier, but she got bored and became a Bounty Hunter. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital.
