Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Spear hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Spear began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
