History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Fortune-teller. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Fortune-teller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fortune-teller work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Barkeep. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born in the north to a Barkeep, Waywocket learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor
