Through the years after Valida was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Valida's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the east to a Shepherd, Conrad learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Malquis abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She's in love; and to reunite with her old friends
