She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Doctor and was forced into it by her family; and retire the richest woman in the north

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. A true patriot, Gillyd would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Gillyd was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it
