Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Roger was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She has all her life been fascinated with music.

History: Werydd lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mason and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Five was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.
