Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Architect born in the past three hundred years. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was a Mayor, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Valafar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'8" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Her white hair is greasy and uncared for. Her ears are large.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
