History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Gardain was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gardain decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A gifted student she started as a Glassblower, but she got bored and became a Spy. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.

Description: The dark-skinned woman stands 5'5" and is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. Her red hair is knotted and matted. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Bethrynna was born with her mother's beautiful face. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Bethrynna alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and an old rival family wants her found
