Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is black and curly. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Paymon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Paymon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Born in the east to a Laborer, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His first spouse was a Fisher, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He tends to his Laborer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Nimble speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
