History: Born in the south to a Beggar, Volen learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 3 years.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Miller but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Fortune-teller father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She got into the Interpreter business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new interpreter responsibilities is difficult
