Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: An older man who prefers to wear flannel, he is not a threatening figure. His black hair is singed and shortened. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: This slender man stands about 5'0". He is renowned for his bright violet suits and hats. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Erdan speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Soapmaker responsibilities is difficult.

Description: She wears a grey broad hat and grey clothes. Her auburn hair is greasy and uncared for. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady green eyes.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants to get laid; and she would like to get married and retire
