History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Melissa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Therlin was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Herbalist. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
