His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. His eyes are black and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Xappan is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ahrim embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Burgell isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Burgell alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Keyleth was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest woman in the east
