History: Mardred hails from a village terrorized by drow. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: Duergath hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tailor for the past few years.
