History: She was born in a small plains village. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She takes great joy in being the best Sage in town.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Sage. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Banker. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
