History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Rangrim reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, Nagrette was taken on many hunting expeditions. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Erky grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. Being a Mortician kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Bernard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
