Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This tall, slender woman is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her bronze crest, when down, is lengthy. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her first spouse was a Ruler, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and to unite with her sister

Description: 6'3" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears green painted combat armor at almost all times. His crest is green and curly. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Srorthen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Srorthen. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears dull violet sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed shield, just in case. She has no hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. Tiaathque enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs
