Personality: Alberich is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Alberich enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alberich fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Nicor speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicor grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. Personality: Paelias is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
