History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Hethress was born with her father's beautiful face. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mary grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mary. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
