History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Valorean grew up listening to his father's many stories. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Valorean has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Donella lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to pay off her debts
