History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her youth she was a Carter, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her first spouse was a Hunter, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Description: He is lean but muscular and typically wears white cloth garments or leather armor. His silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Snafû is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Snafû grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Snafû. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is content; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. Vanuath enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Vanuath was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.
