Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Valida embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
