History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Ielenia liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has worked as a Sailor like her mother before her.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fletcher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Shepherd, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
