He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and many illithids want him driven away
