History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When Balifra reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has achieved small success as a Carter.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and balancing her hectic life and new carter responsibilities is difficult
