History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. After months of barely getting by, Merla managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
