Personality: Heian hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Heian took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greatsword and armor he uses now. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dilettante. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and doesn't want to be a herbalist and was forced into it by her family
