Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shifting fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
