The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Verna lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Junk Dealer and was forced into it by her family.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
