Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Keyleth was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Priest arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student she started as a Fisher, but she got bored and became a Priest. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Priest for the past few years.
