History: Baern hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears an entirely tan suit with blue socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'0". He wears a pastel coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His lavender fur is matted, messy, and big. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his feathered pastel hat.

Personality: Emerald is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he loathes his own lifestyle
