History: Theren lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Mary took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland.
