Description: This light-skinned male wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has amber eyes and a grey hat with a white feather.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Map Maker. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His bronze crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His red eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against illithids

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a violet coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His auburn hair is cut short. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.
Personality: Eiravel hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: To end his boredom; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a tattered pair of loose green pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, and is pretty ugly. Her long gold crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.
History: Aasathra was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and an old rival family wants her found
