History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born in a small island village. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mara grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and to reunite with her old friends
