History: Nelkin was born with his father's beautiful face. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Nelkin's homeland. Nelkin decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions
