Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Zepar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ploughman. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her childhood dream was to be a Sculptor, but she was a colossal failure. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is content
