History: Rurik was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Gifted from a young age, Sweet studied abroad. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She has styled her black hair well, parting it to the right. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and retire the richest woman in the north
