History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents enrolled him in a Warrior school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. River took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor she uses now. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
